Position Overview
We are seeking a Field Operator I (Flowback Operator) to support oil and gas operations in a rotational role. This position is responsible for operating wells and equipment in alignment with safety and operational procedures, ensuring reliable performance and reduced equipment downtime. The ideal candidate will bring strong knowledge of pipeline operations, well operations, and emergency response procedures, with proven ability to work in remote rotational assignments.
Key Responsibilities
Execute daily work objectives with a focus on safety, housekeeping, and environmental standards
Actively participate in toolbox and safety meetings
Monitor wells and equipment, identifying optimization and corrective actions to ensure reliability
Perform routine maintenance tasks as an Equipment Care Technician
Report alarms, abnormal conditions, and emergency shutdown system status
Provide detailed and accurate shift handover information to ensure continuity of operations
Coordinate, control, and monitor corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance activities
Maintain logbooks with continuous reporting of operational events and abnormal conditions
Collect product samples and conduct basic laboratory field tests
Support and participate in emergency response activities
Report and escalate incidents per company incident reporting guidelines
Ensure good communication across the work team to address operational issues
Support Wellwork activities by diagnosing well problems, maintaining wellheads/surface equipment, and providing operational assistance
Required Skills & Qualifications
Completed secondary education; prior experience as a Field Technician preferred
Strong oral and written communication skills
High standard of Safety, Health, and Environmental awareness, with ability to promote best practices in others
Knowledge and understanding of:

Safety and operations management tools/processes
Emergency Preparedness Procedures
Project Philosophy and Design Specifications
Relevant regulations and commercial agreements
