Scope
The Electrical Maintenance Technician III supports field electrical maintenance and electrical isolation/Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) activities involving lighting, air-conditioning systems, motors, and related equipment. This position plans and executes scheduled preventive maintenance and breakdown repairs to minimize production impacts and maximize operational availability. The role typically reports to a supervisor.

Scope
The Electrical Maintenance Technician III supports field electrical maintenance and electrical isolation/Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) activities involving lighting, air-conditioning systems, motors, and related equipment. Key Responsibilities
- Perform field electrical maintenance and electrical isolation/LOTO activities.
- Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and support repairs involving lighting, air-conditioning systems, motors, and related electrical equipment.
- Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors as required.
- Comply with Management of Change requirements for plant modifications.
- Apply electrical skills and technical knowledge safely and efficiently.
- Identify opportunities for improvement, cost savings, and work simplification.
- Maintain and promote high safety, security, health, and environmental standards.
- Minimize production interruptions and maximize equipment availability.
- Use Observation Safety Techniques to report safe and unsafe acts.
- Participate in responsible waste-management practices.
- Attend and participate in daily operations shift meetings.
- Clearly document and communicate field conditions and recommended corrective actions.
- Current Texas Journeyman or Master Electrician’s License Required
- Previous experience in a closely related electrical maintenance position, preferably within the oil and gas industry.
- Appropriate electrical certification or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong knowledge of electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and LOTO procedures.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to clearly describe field conditions and recommend remediation steps.
- Strong teamwork skills and willingness to assist others without requiring direct authority.
- Ability to manage tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and changing priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Must be available for nights and weekends when on call.
