Scope
Brownfield Facilities Engineer responsible for providing operations support and surveillance for existing assets. The engineer will:

Lead individual small projects through completion
Debottleneck facilities and production batteries to accommodate new production volumes
Resolve potential safety and operational risks through engineering actions
Minimize downtime and optimize production from existing assets
Participate in area risk assessments, HAZOPs, Hazard Hunts, and Critical Operating Parameter Reviews
Lead downtime- and process-safety-related incident investigations
Identify improvement opportunities and develop project scopes of work
Perform risk assessments for new and existing facilities and close associated mitigation items
Lead performance testing and plant-based trials
Develop operating guidelines for facilities
Coach and mentor junior colleagues

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent professional experience
Extensive knowledge of engineering design standards, specifications, codes, and applicable safety criteria
Strong brownfield facilities and operations-support experience
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Ability to engage cross-functional teams independently and drive work toward business objectives and deadlines
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Fluent written and spoken English, particularly for technical and business communications
