Main Functions

Position requires understanding of safety, health, and environmental requirements (SHE), work selection criteria, work planning, estimating, procurement practices, contractor coordination, development of job packs, and scheduling/resource utilization.
This role supports coordination between operations, equipment readiness/permitting, material availability, construction support, and labor crew assignment to ensure efficient maintenance execution.
Typical related titles may include Maintenance Planner/Scheduler, Maintenance Lead, or Planner/Scheduler.

Tasks and Responsibilities
- Demonstrates safety as the top priority
- Participates in planning with Core/Work Teams
- Plans and schedules routine maintenance work
- Assists with development of schedules, cost estimates, and equipment planning for turnaround work
- Develops complex job plans and resource plans with Scheduler, Execution Lead, and Operations teams
- Identifies and monitors critical and sub-critical paths for major events
- Utilizes planning and estimating tools to support scheduling activities
- Supports field execution teams with look-ahead schedules and work progression
- Assists with maintenance contracting/procurement planning and execution
- Resolves scheduling issues including negative float, out-of-sequence updates, resource overloads, and scope changes
- Develops complete job plans including materials, labor resources, and timelines
- Assists with material selection and management
- Plans, estimates, tracks, and schedules Field Order Changes (FCOs)
- Applies scheduling logic including lead, lag, milestones, and critical path
- Assesses work contingencies and coordinates schedule impact mitigation between teams
- Previous experience in a closely related position
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and changing priorities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with scheduling and planning software
- Demonstrated leadership abilities during Work Team meetings
- Strong attention to detail and ability to steward action items and cost profiles
- Office-based role
- Local candidates only – no per diem offered
- Highly detail-oriented and quick/eager learner preferred
- Oil & Gas experience preferred
- Measurement experience helpful
- High-volume data entry experience required
- MuddyBoots experience preferred
- TESTit software experience accepted in place of MuddyBoots
- Dynamics data entry experience preferred
- ACP Map experience is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree not required
