Scope
Safety, Security, Health, and Environment (SSHE) Specialists not only support one or more safety, security, health, or environmental subject areas for a particular site or functional group within an affiliate but also provide a level of subject matter expertise in one or more areas. The SSHE Specialist influences the field organization without formal authority by demonstrating strong operations and/or maintenance skills, and interacting effectively with operations/manufacturing/pipeline/other field organizations. The SSHE Specialist also demonstrates good communication and interpersonal skills while working with diverse groups. This job role will cover some but not all of the responsibilities listed below.

Schedule Details
  • 14 days on / 14 days off
  • 12-hour shifts (84 hours/week)
Allowances / Eligible Expenses
  • Truck Allowance: $75/day
  • Per Diem: $125/day (Bakken / Baker, MT / Wyoming)
  • Mileage: $0.75/mile (MOB/DEMOB up to 1,000 miles each way)
  • No housing provided – per diem intended to cover lodging and meals
Additional Details
  • A&D Classification: Safety Sensitive
  • Meet & Greet: Zoom (30 minutes)
  • Submittal Deadline: 4/24/2026 (may close earlier with strong candidates)
Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Assist the workforce in the implementation of SSHE Processes, Safety Instructions, Safety Procedures, and hazard management strategies
  • Encourage workforce participation in SSHE processes
  • Identify SSHE-related issues and facilitate resolution
  • Support contractor qualification processes and SSHE activities
  • Review project procedures and manuals
  • Manage and inspect SHE critical equipment (fire response, spill response, gas detection, etc.)
  • Support ERT drill programs and emergency response planning
  • Coordinate emergency response teams and manage forward control during incidents
Qualifications
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree required
  • Safety-related experience (oil & gas preferred)
  • Knowledge of security processes and procedures
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities
  • No training provided beyond company-specific standards
