Compensation
$47 to 126/hr (Depending on Experience) + $225/day Per Diem + $0.75/mile Mileage

Schedule
Monday – Friday, 10 hour days

Scope
The Instrumentation and Electrical Inspector will monitor contractor activities to ensure proper installation of electrical and instrumentation systems. This includes conduit, wiring, tubing, fittings, and related components supporting control and measurement equipment. The inspector ensures all installations meet project specifications, safety standards, and applicable electrical codes.

Responsibilities
• Monitor contractor installation of conduit, wiring, tubing, fittings, and related electrical and instrumentation components
• Verify proper installation of electrical and control equipment including electronic flow measurement systems, switchgear, ultrasonic meters, transmitters, radio control systems, pneumatic and electronic control valves, and other project equipment
• Inspect construction work to ensure compliance with project specifications, electrical codes, and safety requirements
• Review wiring schematics and process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) to confirm proper system installation
• Ensure construction activities comply with National Electric Code (NEC) requirements
• Identify installation issues and work with contractors to ensure corrective actions are taken
• Maintain documentation and reporting related to inspection activities
• Support safe work practices and compliance with site safety standards

• Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of safe work practices in oil and gas production environments
• Knowledge of machines, tools, and equipment including their design, use, repair, and maintenance
• Working knowledge of OSHA safety requirements, safety equipment, and monitoring devices
• Strong understanding of the National Electric Code (NEC)

Education & Experience
• High school diploma required; advanced education preferred
Minimum of 5 years of Instrumentation and Electrical (I&E) experience
• Appropriate inspection certifications or qualifications required
• NEC and ISA training preferred

Comments
• Open to multiple experience levels; final rate will be determined based on experience
• Mileage reimbursed at $0.75 per mile
• Per diem provided at $225 per day
• Personal vehicle required; position not eligible for fleet vehicle charges
• DOT drug screen required for this position
