Oversee the safe and efficient dispatch of materials, equipment, and services through effective coordination and real-time communication with field teams and vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead nightly dispatch activities for transportation and oilfield service operations including water hauling, equipment deliveries, and environmental services.
- Serve as a liaison between field technicians, vendors, drivers, and operations staff to communicate schedules, job status, and changes in real time.
- Use software systems (Gemini, Open Invoice/Open Ticket, Airtable, Excel) to input, track, and manage dispatch data.
- Receive and process job orders from active field personnel via phone, email, or work order platforms.
- Maintain a running log of all work in progress and deliver end-of-day activity reports to supervisors.
- Resolve service delays, route conflicts, and vendor performance issues to minimize downtime and production disruption.
- Review vendor expectations and service contracts to ensure compliance and alignment with operational goals.
- Prioritize safety and regulatory compliance in all dispatch planning and communication.
- Perform other tasks assigned to support field logistics and operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in dispatching or transportation logistics within the oil and gas sector.
- Prior leadership or shift lead experience is strongly preferred.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and dispatch tracking platforms.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and make time-sensitive decisions during off-hours.
- Flexibility to adjust to new systems and adapt to night shift scheduling.
Additional Info:
- The first 2–3 weeks will be Monday through Friday day shifts for onboarding and training.
- After training, the role will move to a permanent night shift (7-on/7-off schedule).
