Scope
Support field electrical maintenance and electrical isolation using lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures for lighting, air conditioning, and motors. Plan and perform scheduled preventive and breakdown maintenance to minimize production impacts and maximize equipment availability. This position typically reports to a supervisor.
In addition to Level I and II responsibilities, the technician will:
  • Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors as needed.
  • Follow Management of Change (MOC) requirements for plant modifications.
  • Identify opportunities to improve work practices, reduce costs, and simplify maintenance.
  • Follow and promote safety, security, health, and environmental (SSHE) standards; use Observation Safety Techniques (OST) to report safe and unsafe acts.
  • Participate in responsible waste management and operations morning shift meetings.
Candidates should have experience in a closely related role, preferably in oil and gas; applicable certifications or equivalent professional experience; clear field communication and teamwork skills; the ability to manage changing priorities and heavy workloads; and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Requirements
  • Texas Journeyman Electrician License is required.
