Pay Rate: $55-66/hr

Scope

Main Functions

Operate equipment and wells by applying operating and safety procedures and guidelines to meet daily operational plans, reduce equipment failures, and efficiently manage resources.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Implement daily work objectives related to housekeeping, safety, health, environmental, and security standards
  • Actively participate in daily toolbox meetings and regular safety meetings
  • Identify and implement corrective and optimization actions through continuous surveillance of wells and equipment
  • Function as Equipment Care Technician and perform simple maintenance activities as required
  • Report when alarm, emergency, or emergency shutdown systems are out of service
  • Provide detailed and accurate shift turnover communication to ensure operational continuity
  • Coordinate, control, and monitor maintenance activities according to corrective, predictive, and preventive plans
  • Maintain detailed logbook entries for operational events and abnormal conditions
  • Collect product samples for laboratory analysis and perform field tests
  • Participate in emergency response activities
  • Report incidents internally and escalate per Incident Reporting Guidelines
  • Ensure Shift Supervisor is informed and consulted on operational activities
  • Maintain strong communication across work teams to ensure issues are addressed
  • Provide accurate diagnostics on well production issues and current well conditions
  • Ensure wellhead and surface equipment are maintained and ready prior to Wellwork operations
  • Support ongoing Wellwork operations as needed

Skills and Qualifications

  • Completed secondary education with previous experience as a Field Technician
  • Experience in Process Operations (Non-Refinery)
  • Experience in Upstream Production from the wellhead
  • Experience in production, midstream, tank batteries, compressor stations, or onshore field operations
  • Familiarity with West Texas, New Mexico, Bakken (ND), or Oklahoma site operations preferred
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) mindset
  • Extensive knowledge of pipeline operations
  • Knowledge of safety and operations management tools and processes
  • Strong knowledge of Emergency Preparedness Procedures
  • Understanding of Project Philosophy and Design Specifications
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and commercial agreements
