Scope
Maintain, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and replace equipment across oil and gas production facilities. Working under limited supervision, the Maintenance Operator will perform complex corrective and preventive maintenance to support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of wells, batteries, and plants.

Scope
Maintain, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and replace equipment across oil and gas production facilities. Working under limited supervision, the Maintenance Operator will perform complex corrective and preventive maintenance to support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of wells, batteries, and plants.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform complex corrective maintenance involving tank valves, seat and trim components, dump controllers, Kimray valves, water-transfer equipment, pumping-unit stuffing boxes, sump pots, and ball valves.
- Complete work according to schedules established by the Maintenance Planner.
- Repair or replace well-site equipment while maintaining environmental compliance and proper well-site control of pneumatic equipment.
- Coordinate closely with Maintenance Planners, Operations Engineers, Superintendents, Foremen, and the Environmental Health and Safety Department.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures that support safe and efficient operations.
- Work with the Maintenance Planner to improve cycle times, identify necessary pre-job planning steps, and ensure timely work-order closure.
- Perform equipment inspections to identify potential problems before failures occur.
- Ensure maintenance work complies with established procedures, safety requirements, environmental regulations, and industry best practices.
- Lead job planning, cost tracking, and reporting of maintenance expenses.
- Ensure work orders are completed promptly and safely, with accurate closure and verification.
- Maintain company equipment, including computers, vehicles, and analysis or testing equipment.
- Maintain productive working relationships with landowners and local, state, and federal representatives.
- Exercise stop-work authority when unsafe conditions are identified.
- Serve as a field-wide point of contact during emergencies or significant operational events.
- Promote a strong safety culture throughout the maintenance team.
- Train and support less-experienced Maintenance Operators.
- Coordinate vendors as required to support maintenance activities.
- High school diploma, GED, higher secondary education, and/or commensurate work experience required.
- Six or more years of relevant experience required.
- E&P operations experience preferred.
- Experience should include oil and gas facility maintenance, lease operations with maintenance responsibilities, and/or the control, design, and operation of oil and gas facilities.
