Scope
The Construction Coordinator III is responsible for coordinating between Engineering and Construction throughout project planning and execution. This position provides construction input, communicates with Construction Management, coordinates execution activities between ExxonMobil and its contractors, and works with the project scheduler to support successful field execution.
The Construction Coordinator will establish the Construction Planning Program (CPP), align the planning scope with the Construction Advisor and Construction Support Manager, and manage assigned projects and implementation contractors. The coordinator will ensure project deliverables are completed for Ready for Implementation (RFI), meet quality and schedule requirements, and conform to overall project expectations.
The assignment supports a pilot enhanced oil recovery project which involves injecting natural gas downhole. The project includes a large compressor station with 12 compressors and associated ancillary utilities and equipment, along with pipelines connecting to five well pads and their associated equipment.

Tasks and Responsibilities
- Coordinate activities and communication between Engineering, Construction, ExxonMobil personnel, and implementation contractors.
- Support construction planning and execution from initial planning through field implementation.
- Establish and maintain the Construction Planning Program.
- Align the construction planning scope with the Construction Advisor and Construction Support Manager.
- Manage assigned projects and coordinate the implementation contractors involved.
- Ensure project deliverables are completed for RFI and meet project quality, schedule, and technical requirements.
- Work closely with the project scheduler to coordinate construction activities and execution priorities.
- Identify and remove barriers affecting field execution.
- Address technical problems and coordinate with the assigned Instrumentation and Electrical Engineer when specialized support is required.
- Identify issues, problems, and opportunities; make timely decisions and develop appropriate and innovative solutions.
- Request assistance or additional technical support when required.
- Manage multiple projects of varying size and complexity.
- Work effectively within small and large multidisciplinary teams.
- Share and transfer knowledge among project teams and stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering required.
- Previous experience in construction coordination, project execution, engineering, or a closely related position.
- Strong coordination and interface-management capabilities.
- Experience supporting large construction projects, compressor stations, pipelines, well-pad facilities, or associated oil and gas infrastructure preferred.
- Ability to coordinate technical issues between Engineering and Construction.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to clearly convey technical and project information to individuals and groups.
- Ability to prepare and deliver presentations when required.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Demonstrated integrity, reliability, and commitment to assigned responsibilities.
