Scope
MAIN FUNCTIONS
Installs and maintains electrical and instrumentation equipment in compliance with all company rules, standards, and regulatory practices. Tests, troubleshoots, and repairs electrical and instrumentation systems used in production operations to ensure optimal performance and product quality. Evaluates systems to determine repair strategies and documents all findings and corrective actions.

MAIN FUNCTIONS
Installs and maintains electrical and instrumentation equipment in compliance with all company rules, standards, and regulatory practices. Tests, troubleshoots, and repairs electrical and instrumentation systems used in production operations to ensure optimal performance and product quality. Evaluates systems to determine repair strategies and documents all findings and corrective actions.
- Plan, prioritize, and oversee all activities within assigned areas in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, standards, and company procedures, with strong emphasis on safety and environmental compliance
- Support collaboration between operations, engineering, and project teams
- Review and provide input on control specifications and work practices
- Maintain accountability for electrical and control systems in accordance with the Work Management Manual
- Apply and follow Permit to Work System (PTWS) requirements
- Ensure timely and high-quality completion of maintenance activities
- Develop and maintain personal and team technical competencies
- Participate in and lead (as needed) technical meetings to communicate updates on standards, procedures, and technology
- Maintain open communication regarding electrical and control issues, including safety practices, training, and materials
- Support work prioritization to maximize efficiency and align with other work groups
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to other technicians
- Generate and manage Management of Change (MOC) requests related to electrical and control systems and ensure compliance with OIMS Element 3
- Inspect and verify new installations for compliance with company standards and recommend improvements as needed
- Serve as backup to the Instrument and Electrical Lead when required
- Associate’s degree preferred, supplemented by technical training in electrical or instrumentation disciplines
- Experience maintaining electrical systems and instrumentation in oil & gas processing plants or offshore production environments
- Knowledge of regulations applicable to oil and gas operations
- Familiarity with OIMS standards, manuals, and procedures
- Meets all required safety, technical, and administrative training per company training roadmap
- Demonstrates required Operations Integrity Critical competencies
- Proficient with basic computer systems and reporting tools
- Strong safety orientation
- Effective communication skills
- Strong organizational and reporting abilities
- High attention to detail
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Texas Journeyman Electrician License required
