Position Overview
The Workflow Coordinator is responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting the implementation of Foundations Program standards and workflows across all Unconventional Business Units. This role will lead the execution of select workflows requiring close coordination with cross-functional teams located at the ExxonMobil Houston Campus.
The position plays a critical role in ensuring consistency, quality, and alignment across program deliverables, while also supporting site-level teams and expanding program activities.

Key Responsibilities
Workflow Development & Execution
  • Partner with Lean teams, ExxonMobil stakeholders, and third-party contractors to define workflows for all Foundations Program deliverables.
  • Maintain and continuously optimize workflows by incorporating stakeholder feedback.
  • Serve as the single point of contact for Site Coordinators regarding workflow training and support.
  • Oversee execution of tag alignment workflows, integrating schedules with Site Coordinators and ensuring consistent tag assignment across systems and deliverables.
  • Establish and execute quality control checks to ensure all systems are fully populated with outputs from Foundations Program workflows.
Standards Management
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and third-party contractors to establish standards for Foundations Program deliverables.
  • Secure stakeholder alignment through development and documentation of Standards Decision Records.
  • Maintain standards and incorporate updates to drive continuous improvement.
  • Provide standards-related training and ongoing support to Site Coordinators.
Reporting
  • Collect input from Site Coordinators and compile monthly cost, schedule, and progress reports.
Program Scope Management
  • Create and maintain a master facility and deliverables list serving as the program’s source of truth.
  • Update scope documentation as sites are identified, divested, or decommissioned.
Site Coordinator Support
  • Act as the primary contact for workflow and standards support.
  • Lead mobilization and training of new Site Coordinators across Unconventional assets to accelerate program expansion.

Required Qualifications
  • Strong experience in workflow development and process optimization
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional teams and external contractors
  • Ability to manage program scope and maintain structured documentation
  • Strong organizational and reporting skills
  • Experience implementing quality assurance controls
  • Excellent stakeholder communication and alignment skills

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting large-scale operational or asset-based programs
  • Background in standards governance and documentation management
  • Experience working within oil & gas or energy environments
