$55/hr + ½ ton truck provided by agency

Scope
MAIN FUNCTIONS
Operate equipment and wells by applying operating and safety procedures and guidelines to meet daily operational plan, reduce equipment failure, and ensure efficient resource administration.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible to implement on daily work objectives, housekeeping, safety, health, environmental, and security
  • Active participation in daily toolbox meetings and regular safety meetings
  • Identify and implement corrective and optimization actions through continuous surveillance of wells and equipment to ensure reliable, efficient, and safe operational conditions
  • Function as Equipment Care Technician and perform simple maintenance activities
  • Report when alarms, emergency, or emergency shutdown systems are out of service
  • Provide detailed, clear, and accurate information during shift changes to ensure operational continuity
  • Coordinate, control, and monitor maintenance jobs in accordance with corrective, predictive, and preventive planning
  • Continuously report in the logbook all relevant operational events and abnormal situations or deviations in the work area, equipment, or personnel
  • Take product samples for laboratory analysis and execute field laboratory tests
  • Actively participate in emergency response activities
  • Report incidents internally and escalate as per Incident Reporting Guidelines
  • Ensure Operations Shift Supervisor is informed and consulted on operational activities
  • Maintain strong communication across the team to address issues effectively
  • Provide accurate information on well production issues, current rates, and conditions
  • Ensure well diagnostics are thorough before requesting well intervention
  • Ensure wellhead and surface equipment are in proper working condition prior to wellwork operations
  • Provide support to ongoing wellwork operations as needed

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Completed secondary education and prior experience as a Field Technician
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • High standard of Safety, Health, and Environmental awareness and ability to promote it
  • Strong knowledge of pipeline operations
  • Strong knowledge of safety and operations management tools and processes
  • Broad knowledge of emergency preparedness procedures
  • Strong knowledge of project philosophy and design specifications
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations
  • Knowledge of relevant commercial agreements
