Job Title: Electrical Engineering Technician III

Location: Vantage, TX
Schedule:7/7, 8/6, or 14/14 (Back-to-Back rotation: 1 day shift / 1 night shift)
Target Pay Rate: $75/hr

Scope

Main Functions

Provide advanced technical support for:

Field electrical maintenance activities
Electrical isolation (Lock Out Tag Out – LOTO)
Lighting, HVAC, and motor maintenance

This position typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

Tasks & Responsibilities

In addition to Level 1 & 2 duties, a Level 3 Technician will:

Technical Responsibilities

Provide guidance and technical support to junior-level staff on complex electrical issues
Assemble, test, troubleshoot, and modify electrical machinery, control equipment, circuitry, and components
Work according to engineering specifications in industrial/commercial facilities or lab environments
Diagnose root causes of equipment failures and perform preventive & corrective maintenance
Document findings, record maintenance data, and recommend equipment modifications or replacements

Skills & Qualifications

Required

Relevant prior experience in a similar Electrical Technician role
Discipline-appropriate certifications (if applicable) or equivalent technical experience
Strong communication skills for clear field condition reporting & recommendations
Demonstrated teamwork capabilities with cross-functional personnel
Ability to work in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Additional Desired Skills

Candidates with the following background/technical system experience are highly preferred:

Electrical & Operations

High Voltage (HV) Power Transmission & Distribution
Electrical Dispatch Operations
Instrumentation, Controls, and Electrical (I&E) experience

SCADA / Controls Systems

Ignition or equivalent SCADA/HMI systems (Wonderware, GE HMI, etc.)
Aspentech: Monarch
ABB Xenon SCADA

Analytics & Software

SeeQ Analytics functional knowledge
