Schedule
5/2, 40 hours per week with approved overtime. On-call and weekend work may be required in the future.

Scope
The Measurement Technician will support the oversight, operation, and maintenance of water, oil, and gas measurement systems. The position involves calibration, tank gauging, meter proving, volumetric measurement corrections, control charting, and providing operability and maintainability expertise for instrumentation and control systems.
Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate measurement equipment.
  • Install and maintain radio equipment and ensure reliable communication uplinks.
  • Support water, oil, and gas measurement systems, including orifice, ultrasonic, turbine, and Coriolis meters.
  • Apply AGA measurement standards and applicable API standards.
  • Configure and maintain Fisher ROC and ABB measurement equipment.
  • Support radio communications and hydrocarbon sampling for analysis.
  • Set process controls in field locations and processing facilities.
  • Perform testing, calibration, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting on measurement and control equipment.
  • Install, test, troubleshoot, and run diagnostic tests on RTU equipment.
  • Test, calibrate, and troubleshoot transmitters and communication equipment.
  • Install and test flow transmitters in the field.
  • Test and verify gas moisture content, gravity, and CO₂ levels.
  • Maintain accurate measurement records and documentation.
  • Follow all company safety and environmental standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous experience in measurement, instrumentation, controls, pipeline operations, or a closely related oil and gas position.
  • Basic understanding of water, oil, and gas measurement practices.
  • Basic knowledge of measurement recordkeeping, AGA standards, and applicable API standards.
  • Ability to install, maintain, calibrate, test, and troubleshoot field measurement equipment.
  • Experience with Fisher ROC systems, ABB gas measurement equipment, and WinCCU software is preferred.
  • Familiarity with RTUs, transmitters, flow measurement equipment, radio communications, and hydrocarbon sampling is preferred.
  • Understanding of basic statistical concepts and control charting.
  • College degree preferred but not required; comparable industry experience is acceptable.
  • Must be able to support future on-call and weekend assignments.
