Business mileage is reimbursable at the IRS standard mileage rate. Required overnight training will be reimbursed and booked through BCD.
Scope Support Business Line Safety, Security, Health, and Environment (SSHE) stewardship processes across the Tioga Gas Plant and Williston operations area. This position will support operations and maintenance projects involving gas plants and compressor stations. The work is production-focused and does not involve global capital projects, well servicing, or well delivery. The SSHE Coordinator III will support the SSHE Supervisor in administering safety programs, monitoring performance, coordinating activities, and serving as a primary point of contact for Regional SSHE Advisors. The position will also support work-management processes, Process Safety Management System expectations, and the rollout of upstream safety manual requirements and other SSHE programs. Responsibilities
Develop Safety, Health, and Environmental training covering applicable procedures and safe work practices for employees and contractors.
Establish systems for implementing safety plans, including hardware, software, data flow, analytical methods, and reporting formats.
Develop and distribute safety communications for employees and contractors.
Support the development and administration of safety incentive programs.
Coordinate the development of waste management, environmental, and industrial hygiene plans.
Review contractor safety plans for compliance with site and company requirements.
Participate in job-specific risk assessments and safety reviews.
Implement and support SSHE programs across field operations.
Compile, analyze, and report SSHE statistics and performance metrics.
Monitor business performance and provide portfolio and stewardship analysis.
Support work-management activities and Process Safety Management System expectations.
Assist with upcoming upstream safety manual and SSHE program rollouts.
Coordinate with operations, maintenance, contractors, Regional SSHE Advisors, and site leadership.
Spend more than 50% of working time supporting field activities.
Qualifications
Minimum associate degree in safety, environmental science, industrial hygiene, occupational health, or another relevant field.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is preferred.
At least 4–5 years of relevant SSHE experience.
Construction safety experience is required.
Experience supporting gas plants, compressor stations, production operations, or oil and gas operations is strongly preferred.
Experience supporting operations and maintenance projects is preferred.
Knowledge of work-management processes and Process Safety Management System requirements is preferred.
