Job Description:
Seeking experienced Buyer II professionals to support unconventional oil and gas operations in Spring, TX. This role is critical to ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services while maintaining compliance with company and industry standards. You will be responsible for managing complex procurement processes, negotiating high-value contracts, and building strong vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer and manage purchase orders and change orders exceeding $100K
  • Validate vendor setup across procurement and accounting systems
  • Analyze quotes, proposals, and bids across various business units
  • Negotiate commercial pricing and legal terms with vendors and suppliers
  • Resolve purchase order-related accounts payable issues
  • Foster collaborative relationships with stakeholders across Procurement, Business Units, Legal, and Finance
  • Vendor relationship management to ensure compliance and performance
Required Qualifications:
  • BA/BS in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field preferred (or equivalent work experience)
  • 5–10 years of experience in procurement, contract administration, and supply chain operations
  • Oil and gas industry experience strongly preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Oracle/SAP, OpenInvoice, and PowerBI
  • Proficient in end-to-end Source-to-Pay processes
  • Strong negotiation skills and customer service mindset
  • Highly organized self-starter with a sharp eye for detail
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Must be willing to work overtime or be on call when necessary
