Position Overview
We are seeking a Project Engineer II to support engineering design, project execution, and contractor oversight for upstream oil & gas projects. This role provides technical support across multiple disciplines, ensuring projects are completed within budget, on schedule, and in compliance with company standards. The position also provides backup coverage for Project Manager responsibilities when required.

We are seeking a Project Engineer II to support engineering design, project execution, and contractor oversight for upstream oil & gas projects. This role provides technical support across multiple disciplines, ensuring projects are completed within budget, on schedule, and in compliance with company standards. The position also provides backup coverage for Project Manager responsibilities when required.
- Perform engineering design evaluations and support project execution
- Participate in ITT (Invitation to Tender) development, bid evaluation, and contractor selection
- Support identification and sourcing of long-lead equipment; coordinate with FEED contractors
- Coordinate development of EMCAPS Gate 3 deliverables and Functional Interaction Plans
- Lead and coordinate project issues resolution and change management processes
- Verify designs and construction are consistent with project specifications and standards
- Serve as primary interface between the Project Team and Contractors
- Ensure smooth transitions between project phases and handoffs
- Guide the Project Management Team (PMT) in applying project management systems
- Conduct reviews of production, malfunction, and maintenance reports to determine and resolve issues
- BS degree in Engineering required
- Proven experience across engineering, construction, project management, and project controls
- Broad knowledge of design standards, specifications, and work processes
- Strong leadership, influencing, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational, coordination, and planning abilities
- Ability to manage tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and shifting priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; fluent in English
