Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Technician III
Schedule: 5/2 – Monday through Friday
(7:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
Weekly on-call rotation
Pay Rate: $65/hr
• Valid Texas Journeyman Electrician License (required)
• 4–6 years of relevant electrical maintenance experience
• Strong communication skills with ability to clearly describe field conditions and recommend corrective actions
• Strong teamwork skills, including working effectively without direct authority
• Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and changing priorities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• On-call rotation required
• XTO-provided tools (list to be supplied)
• Agency to supply basic hand tools
• XTO to supply 4-gas monitor

Main Functions
Support field electrical maintenance activities and electrical isolation (Lockout/Tagout – LOTO) for lighting, air conditioning, and motor maintenance. Plan and execute scheduled preventive and breakdown maintenance to minimize production impact and maximize operational availability. Typically reports to a Supervisor.Tasks and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Maintenance- Perform field electrical maintenance and electrical isolation (Lock Out/Tag Out – LOTO) for lighting, air conditioning, motors, and associated equipment
- Plan and execute scheduled preventive maintenance and corrective/breakdown maintenance activities
- Troubleshoot electrical systems to identify root causes of failures and implement corrective actions
- Support plant modifications in compliance with Management of Change (MOC) requirements
- Comply with and actively promote high Safety, Security, Health, and Environmental (SSHE) standards
- Utilize Observation Safety Techniques (OST) to report safe and unsafe acts
- Participate in responsible waste management practices
- Attend and actively participate in daily Operations morning shift meetings
- Work with vendors and subcontractors as required to complete maintenance activities
- Apply technical skills efficiently while identifying opportunities for improvement, cost savings, and simplification
- Communicate clearly with supervisors and operations teams regarding field conditions and recommended remediation steps
- Work with vendors and subcontractors as required

Skills and Qualifications
• Previous experience in a closely related role, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry• Valid Texas Journeyman Electrician License (required)
• 4–6 years of relevant electrical maintenance experience
• Strong communication skills with ability to clearly describe field conditions and recommend corrective actions
• Strong teamwork skills, including working effectively without direct authority
• Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and changing priorities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

• Local candidates preferred (within 40–60 miles of Midkiff)• On-call rotation required
