This is a large-scale project involving facility start-up, operational readiness, work permitting, and training execution. Candidates with new facility startup experience are highly preferred.

MAIN FUNCTIONS
Responsible for the safe and efficient operations, monitoring, and maintenance preparation of wells, processing units, and related facilities. This role requires strong experience with oil, gas, and water separation systems, along with utilities and overall production operations.
This is a large-scale project involving facility start-up, operational readiness, work permitting, and training execution. Candidates with new facility startup experience are highly preferred.
- Ensure personal and team safety; enforce all safety rules and procedures
- Act as primary operations contact for assigned facilities
- Understand full process flow, unit chemistry, and system line-ups
- Issue Safe Work Permits (PTWS) with full awareness of process and safety risks
- Perform gas testing to support safe maintenance activities
- Monitor production systems (tanks, meters, pressures, chemical rates, etc.)
- Identify abnormalities (leaks, freezing, overheating, pressure deviations)
- Adjust process parameters (pressure, temperature, flow) to optimize production
- Maintain accurate gauge sheets and production documentation
- Coordinate oil sales and saltwater hauling activities
- Inspect and verify valve positioning and system integrity
- Perform basic maintenance (filters, lubrication, packing, minor repairs)
- Communicate with Production Foreman on system conditions and changes
- Support winterization/summerization of equipment
- Utilize handheld and digital monitoring tools for field diagnostics
- Inspect safety equipment (relief valves, fire systems, SCBA, etc.)
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure environmental compliance (spill prevention, emissions control, etc.)
- Maintain company vehicle and tools
- College degree or trade school certification required
- Prior experience in oil & gas production operations
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- High level of initiative and accountability
- Ability to work rotating schedules and respond to call-outs
- Strong mechanical aptitude with surface production equipment
- Proficient with computers and operational reporting systems
- Physically capable (lifting 50+ lbs, climbing ladders/stairs)
- Ability to use SCBA and safety detection equipment
- Experience with ESP and Gas Lift systems
- High-volume well operations experience
- Vertical facility operations experience
- Familiarity with flaring systems and emissions control
- Agency supplied ½-ton truck + basic tools
- Local candidates only – no per diem
