Position Overview
The Contracts Lead II manages a portfolio of agreements and new contract requests to enable the efficient and effective purchase of goods and services through the Procure-to-Pay (PtP) process. The role focuses on delivering business value, ensuring on-time delivery, and improving procurement cycle time.
This position operates with moderate direction and requires strong procurement expertise. It may be described as a Senior Procurement Specialist / Contracts Manager responsible for handling higher-complexity contracts and supporting business stakeholders through the full contract lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Negotiate contract pricing, terms, and conditions directly with suppliers while collaborating with internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure lowest total system cost and appropriate mitigation of supply and legal risks.
  • Execute Procure-to-Pay (PtP) processes in full compliance with the Sourcing & Acquisition Handbook and Controls Integrity Management System (CIMS) requirements.
  • Utilize procurement processes and tools to ensure the most effective sourcing and purchasing methods.
  • Maintain contract portfolios including scope updates, pricing changes, exhibits, and amendments.
  • Monitor supplier performance and ensure contract compliance and utilization.
  • Improve transactional efficiency through procurement systems and tools.
  • Identify cost savings and business value opportunities within the agreement portfolio.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Recommend and implement fit-for-risk process improvements.
  • Support Category strategies and provide market intelligence to procurement networks.
